Spiral Vase

The Spiral Vase began as an exploration of form before function. A cylinder was pulled at opposing ends, one movement downward and the other upward, until a soft spiraling lean emerged. What followed was not a predefined object, but a discovered silhouette with enough tension and character to become something new.
